Last time it was at 54 million. Nothing can stop this beast. Best selling non-pack in full priced game in history with no signs of slowing down. Now tell us what you're working on this gen R*.

Mediocre single player, terrible online mode.

Still, it's a wonderful concept marred by boring execution.

I reckon a lot of die hard GTA fans bought multiple copies.

Also the PS3 and 360 versions weren't really that good :/

terrible online mode.

When it first started: yeah, the online was just zero fun.

But GTA Online has come a long way though. That mode could be sold separately for 60 dollars now and it would be worth it.

Some of the most fun I've had in any game this gen so far is just messing around with friends in GTA Online. The possibilities are endless. Literally.

I wonder if the people who don't like the online have actually played it lately. They have added a ton of updates since launch and its a blast. What other game lets you attack peoples yachts?

Bought it once. PS3. Loved it but not enough to buy again. Make something new rockstar! Preferably a Red Dead Redemption sequel.

One moment you are doing a mission.

The next moment you are trying to fight off cops on top of a child's playground with fireworks launchers

The next you are flying off the highest mountain with mountain bikes or monster trucks.

and you end it all off trying to steal military planes from the army base

This game is literally endless fun as long as you have friends who play and are a bit creative.

We always go "Let's try and do some missions so we can earn some money"... But we never get around to it, you always get distracted by something xD

Snowball fight !!!!

True, I'm also dying for a Red Dead 3 announcement by now. Where is it Rockstar ??!

Just one. The one with the first-person camera. I didn't bother with it for the PS3 because that version only has the third-person camera.

GTA V has a greater install base than Ps4 + X1.

Why you not releasing SP DLC R* :(

Was fun until R* became Nazis with the online mode. I got banned until 2035 for unknown reasons, and then the game is just a money guzzling engine for R* as if they haven't already made enough freaking money. F* that game and rockstar. It gets boring and repetitive after a while, and that's even with mods.

hmmm, something tells me that's not the full story

I got it as a pack in with PS4 then sold it before removing the plastic. I was never interested in GTA. I'm more into historical, fantasy, or Sci fi open worlds.

I admit, I double dipped. Technically I downloaded it second time around so that doesn't even go into shipped totals, and I imagine tge same fir many people that got it on PC.

I wonder what's next for Rockstar, something new or remaster of Red Dead Redemption. Surely they're working on something new but they might be taking their sweet ass time, wonder if they'll do one more remaster so they're not rushed.

if each person spent 100 hrs in GTA 5 and you multiply that by 60 million... thats 684, 931 years of gametime played... if only that time was spent working on a cure for cancer. Or time spent developing a spaceship to send us to a new solar system, or anything.... 684, 931 years waisted my fellow humans.... why did we do it?

RIP human race...

Because none of us that played that game are smart enough to work on a cure for cancer. It was mostly a diversion from our terrible work a day existence.

Why you not releasing SP DLC R* :(

Because GTA online just makes them way too much money.

When I met Packie in GTA V singleplayer, I always wanted a SP story DLC where you play as a GTA IV character who just arrived in Los Santos.

I swear, I'll have more patience next time and just wait out for the best version to begin with... I hope xD

I only own the PC version.

The online is terrible. Grind, grind, grind, the usual hackers, and missions take forever to do because they are either really hard or because people leave.

Rockstar should consider creating a console and making their games exclusive to their platform. Would sell a crap ton and you know damn well every third party publisher would want in. Would annihilate any future Xbox or Playstation console in terms of sales.

Not surprised. Just a shame we didn't get any proper singleplayer DLC. Had a good time with the multiplayer though. Mostly doing races and basejumping with a good buddy of mine. Put about 70 hours into that MP.

Got it on 360 and Bone.

Anyway, mate, I wanna ask you: have you gotten around to finishing Baba Yaga yet ? Is it a worthwhile expansion to the main game ?

Damn, I do like that plot. It's not a lake, it's a Sam Lake.

It's.. short. It's enjoyable, but man, it's not lengthy. It just isn't. About 2, maybe 2 and a half hours to complete it 100%.

Yeah and I heard it takes place in the same environment as the main campaign too... But there is some new stuff, right ?

Gaaaaaargh, now to decide if it's worth my 10 euros, or if I should put that towards another game. I do really like ROTR, but it seems like this DLC could've been more.
