In commercial success, pokemon by far... In critical success.. Well, no. Its a darn nice step for the series considering GTA 4 is the first GTA that isn't overrated to the extent that its ridicoules, only slightly overrated (thats after playing it for some 30 hours).

GTA is #5 on the list of all time franchise sales at 70 million. 10 million behind Final Fantasy 30 million behind Sims, 105 million behind Pokemon, and 130 million behind Mario.

That is if you are going by all time sales.

and who would be surprised of this, the most casual game in history (yes it is don't deny this) goes multiplat, hyped to hell(more then halo), gets good reviews(imo not deserved for copy pasting). of course it well sell alot.

actually i would think if halo3 would have sold more if it had the userbase at its release. if halo3 had the userbase as gta4 does now i would think halo would win as long as suply was there.

i can guarentee you that many games will own gta4 in sales once more wii/ps3/360 are sold.

and when gta4 sells as much as pokemon give me a call then you can brag abuot sales you cow(but i know you dont play sales)

I don't remember reading ANY posts from GTA haters. I have a Wii, but I think its great it was so well made and I think the gameplay sounds awesome. I am so glad the way they handle a sandbox game gets rewarded with such accolades. If I ever get a 360 or PS3, this is the first game I'm getting.
