GTA IV verse MGS4...yes another one...

GTAIV verse MGS4... which is better and why? If your a fanboy of either series please stick to the facts... I want to know because I have only played GTA4 and while i've never been a huge fan of the GTA series, I really liked this one and I personally think it did the most for gaming this gen from what i've played. I've never played MGS4, and am wondering what makes it better than this last GTA.

Please no flame wars...

I reccomend getting both, but they are completely different games, so they are hard to compare

GTA4 was just too stale for me, every GTA game since it went 3D has been EXACTLY the same, the cars are always similar, guns are always the same, missions are always the same, story is always uninspired, maps always feel the same, even the side missions are the same.

The best GTA game for me was vice city, after that though, its just like playing the same game but with a graphical mod tbh...

Personally I liked GTA4 more I can see why alot of people loved MGS4.

I hate how GTAs problems are talked about way too much (yeah no planes,they wouldnt work well with the new physics system anyway) while MGS4s are completely ignored (filling every plot hole with nanomachines is not good story telling).
