Hopefully it is though. I really can't wait to play it, and I have a strong feeling it will suprise even the most hardcore GTA fans, and not disappoint in many areas. Gonna be awesome.

Did you read that huge hands on preview Gametrailer has posted up? They completely revamped the series.
I don't doubt it. MGS IV will be the MGS2 of this gen. FFXIII will be the FFX of this gen. Tekken 6 will be the tekken 5 of this gen. Fable 2 will be the Fable of this gen(yes it will flop). FarCry 2 will be the Farcry of this gen. :|
No it wont. The delay is proof that Rockstar could not handle making the game on 2 systems at once...I am still buying it but I am going to play it with low expectations.
GTA III was the defining game of the generation. Absolutely no game could be expected to be that, especially GTA IV which, despite it's imminent AAA-ness, doesn't appear to be a far departure from the recent GTAs.

Nah, stopped reading info a while ago. I don't see the point. I mean, I know I'm gonna buy the game when it's out, so I don't need to know what's in just yet, nice to keep it all a surprise.

I also doubt it. Sure it will be a fine game, but not better than 9.0 or 9.5 at best. I cant wait to play it either, but don't expect the second coming.
Unfortunately, I am actually kinda skeptic that GTAIV will be as good as the previous installments. From what i've heard, it just doesn't have that "sandbox" appeal the other games had. I liked sidewalk driving, and just holding up in some building somewhere, or on some roof, and chucking grenades and rockets, and sniping, then just taking out the choppers as they came. And seeing how long I could last. It seems that in GTAIV, they've taken out that aspect, and its far more mission based. It almost seems like they are cramming the missions down your throat. And it sounds like if you steal a car, the reactions are too realistic. IE, if a cop is even within earshot of you stealing a car, you got the swat team on you. That sucks. I'll wait to see more, but for now, I am actually kinda skeptic that GTAIV will live up to its predecessors.

Rockstar will make damn sure that GTA IV completely destroys Crackdown and Saints Row. Once GTA IV hits, Saints Row 2 will get delayed for a long time, just like what happened with Splinter Cell Conviction when the gameplay footage of MGS4 first appeared.
