Nice. The DLC should be worth the money, but I don't care about the Lost and Damned gang. They are so lame. Maybe I will change my opinion about them in the future...
looks very cool ... not . the name is lost and damned. which means its about the lost biker gang from the story mode, which is like the weakest gang ever portrayed in a GTA game.

I'm surpised with so many people having this kind of reaction. I mean games recieve updates, new maps, new content all the time. Why all of a sudden would this change the way people are going to react to GTAIV?
Halo 3 a game much older is received new content not too long ago and that did fine. Halo 3 is also getting its own Lost and Damned type deal in Halo 3 Recon. I mean people know how popular GTAIV is right? How many people love this game and how much this game has sold on the 360 right?
Its going to be a success. Its pretty much been proven over the course of gaming that things like this do work on console and pc. When the expansion comes out and its all plastered over the front of the XBL Marketplace and a lot of people are downloading it just remember who you two heard it from first. I'll be reminding you and others in February when this hits.

Only that its coming early next year. Im excited and cant wait for the DLC. I like playing GTA online because its lively and fun and this will just add to the game. Also this is epi 1 of 2. Dont know what 2 can bring :D

To the people that don't know what a good game is.
Rockstar will still get their money. They don't need it from "hardcore" gamers who aren't pleased by anything unless it's 10 years or older. If they would've kept the San Andreas formula they would've been bashed for just doing so just to get money.
This gen is bashed enough by you wannabe gamers by saying games this gen are only last gen games with better graphics, yet GTAIV is bashed for trying to do something different. Make up your mind..

Oh well...GTA is a big game, these updates will be huge, and GTA is a fantastic game afterall Theyve heard enough whining, R* proved how talented they are by making each GTA astronomically better than the last (well except GTAIV, but then again SA is like the greatest game ever), and it was all down to just better design

Yeah they gave a solid effort at a new direction, TBH, the story and the presentation was my biggest dissapointment, it feels epic and Scorsese-esque at first, but then all you do is run errands so you lose all immersion. Also you dont feel like youre slowly taking over the city, but instead youre just some dude at different place at different times - you know because somebody told you to

You know, I like to give R* the benefit of the doubt. If you can recall, last gen they started bare bones and worked their way up with each new release until they got to SA... Now they're starting with a completely new set of technology in a new generation, new hardware, etc... They need to get the basics finished, and then start to add on the bells and whistles. They've had to make from scratch everything from a new city new physics - that takes time. As it happens, adding in every little thing that was present in GTA:SA takes time too - and they won't be able to put everything in their first attempt. EQ vs EQ2 are a good and similar example. When EQ2 came out, it's world was a fraction of what the original EQ's was at the time. Tons of features weren't in the game yet - and of course they weren't, because they had to make the new game from scratch. Expansions have been coming out, building on EQ2, and now it's measuring up to the original a little better. R^ has to build up the GTAIV tech and world - they can't bring it up to its former glory in one shot... This is a very big thing they're doing here. Or at least, that's what I hope.
