[QUOTE="monsternachoman"][QUOTE="ps3rulezzggdff"][QUOTE="monsternachoman"][QUOTE="ps3rulezzggdff"][QUOTE="monsternachoman"]Anyone else remember when Microsoft was trying to blame consumers for all the 360's breaking down?
I know I sure do I hope Microsoft gets sued for this crap they deserve it. Instead of actually fixing the problem they just say oh here's an extra warranty. You can send your system everytime it breaks down. Too bad you shouldnt even have to send your system to get fixed in the first place! Especially when you are spending over $300 for a game system!
warmaster670
it is user error, people letting their xbox360 suck in too much dust after months or play and not cleaning it, not to mention on top of bad cooling design=yep you screwed.
funny my xbox360's born date 2/16/2006 still works great why? because i didnt let it get dusty.
Bad cooling design= not user error
dust=not a short term problem, It would take alot of dust to mess up a system in the first place.
nope, the way xbox360's designed, hot ass running tricore 3.2 ghz chip, plus hot ass running ati gpu.
dust collects on heatsinks=overheat/redlights
people not cleaning dust out of console with canned air=user error.
any highend electronic equipment runs hot and need's to be cleaned in order to works properly.
You shouldnt have to dust your system all the freaking time just because the system is built as a dust magnet. I havent dusted my PC in over 6 months but you dont see it breaking down and I leave it on all the time.
i havnt dusted my xbox, or my ps2, or my gamecube, and ive had each for at least 2 years
those arent hot running HIGHEND GPU/CPU chips they werent even at the time of their release.
the more powerful gpu/cpu's get the hotter they tend to run.
funny how dust killed my x1800xt.
