I wonder who got the DoW license. clyde46
Games Workshop reclaimed the Warhammer 40K IP, kind of a pity I would love to see a WH40k : total war (I used to play epic scale table top) Suppose I'll just have to make do with Warhammer fantasy : total war
On topic, wtf do Gearbox know about RTS games? Guess we're in for some pretty bad FPS Homeworld games
Prepare of disappointment. If Nordic games do any justice to the Darksiders IP they will be my new fav dev

A mediocre FPS with memes.I don't care. Didn't play Colonial Marines. Played the first Borderlands and I heavily enjoyed that game a lot. Haven't played Borderlands 2 but I would love to later down the road. Looks f*cking kick-ass. As for the news, never played Homeworld but I don't care. Still, I doubt Gearbox has had experience in the strategy genre so....why would they buy this IP? Interesting.

Well Games Workshop did give the guys behind the Total War games the Warhammer Fantasy license.Firstly, gearbox are not totally bad. Sure they ****** up aliens, but borderlands 1 + 2 were great. The HL mods were great, I hear brother in arms is decent. So there is a chance a homeworld sequel (or whatever) might be good. Sure, i dont think they have made a rts before, but you never know. I never played the original homeworld, so I cant say i really care.campzor
People just got their panties in a twist over the new Aliens, is all. I'm sure after they've made more games (hopefully good ones) people will start to calm the f*ck down over the whole situation.
God, both Stardock and Paradox would make Homeworld 3 :(The three highest bidders:

Duke Nukem Forever is garbage and Borderlands is a mediocre shooter.[QUOTE="Goyoshi12"][QUOTE="campzor"]Firstly, gearbox are not totally bad. GearBox is a hit or miss dev.
While I'm happy they're sayign they will rerelease homeworld 1 and 2, (hopefully that includes cataclysm) on today's leading digital platforms (steam), I'm not happy about them possibly making homeworld 3 in the future. I just don't have faith in gearbox.
Still, just them planning to rerelease homeworld 1 and 2 on steam makes me auto happy overall.

I played Borderlands alone and I still had quite a bit of fun just going through the world killing guys and creatures and getting ridiculous loot. I should try and play it co-op though, that could be pretty sweet.

Well Games Workshop did give the guys behind the Total War games the Warhammer Fantasy license.Yeah, I know Sega got the Fantasy Battles IP. (it may even have been a post from you that made me aware of it)
When I say 'make do with Wahammer Fantasy : Total War' what I really mean is. Creative Assembly have the WH:FB IP! that's fvcking awsome, it couldn't have gone to a better strategy developer and I'm stolked to see what they come out with
Slitherine have the Warhammer 40k IP for now, though a Danish developer is making Space Hulk.
