Agreed. Although... I was pretty good at hammer-ons and pull-offs in the first one... >_>

Crossroads and Texas Flood owns all.

I too prefer the first one, the song, the setting etc...but you gotta admit 2 had better features, practice, co-op, and such so I'd really like to play GH I with those features, if they put the GH I songs as a download on the 360 GH II, I might get it.

GH 2's songlist is painful compared to the first one.

It's almost like the developers were afraid they would never be able to top the first game's song list so they just got a bunch of random solo-driven melodies and hoped no one noticed.

Free Bird is really the only great song in GH2.

What about The Trooper, Hanger 18, YYZ, War Pigs, Sweet Child o' Mine, Jordan, Trogdor, Thunderhorse... etc.

There's a few other good ones - Strutter, Heart-Shaped Box, Last Child, SCOM, Surrender, COMWS, You Really Got Me, MIAB, Hangar 18, Misirlou, Madhouse, YYZ, Gemini, Thunderhorse, Trogdor, and now Hush, The Trooper and Life Wasted. But yeah there's a huge demand for songs like Crazy Train (and I am sure Harmonix could've got them) and instead give us crap like Carry Me Home? WTH?

Number 2 for me. I like the bass, so being able to play bass lines in multiplayer was awesome.

YYZ has a wicked bass line. God, I love Rush.

You... liked... Heart Shaped Box... :|

Oh my...

And yes, there were several other great songs... the lack of a flowing and gradually increasing difficulty is what killed it. Hangar 18 is gross on Expert... as is Freebird... :?

The cover wasn't good, but it's a good song... and Free Bird/Hangar 18 are supposed to be hard lol.

Yeah I was reading on Gamespot that this is in fact a distinct possibility......there is even a section in "The Store" in GH2 where you can buy songs.  None are up as of yet though obviously since it just came out.

You listen to The Who? If not... you should.

John Entwistle makes love to his bass. Especially in "My Generation."

Freebird's easy but that middle part of Hangar 18 is quite hard.

The Real Me has the best bass EVER.
