Guitar Hero 2 (360) = System Seller

So yeah,

BBQs are big with me and my friends. Every Saturday/Sunday we gather to eat, drink and play.

360 is now our offical party console and Guitar Hero 2 has offically taken over Wii Sports.

1 friend is already buying my 360 once I get an Elite, and 2 other buddies going to pick-up Elites.

We absolutely love this game.

System Seller no. because it's been out on the PS2 for 5 months now so it may be better on the 360 but not a system seller.

I don't know a single person that has Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2. 

But after the Elite comes out,

I'll know atleast 3 other that will for the 360.

I don't know a single person that has Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2. 

Check the sales numbers, its more accurate then you knowing a couple of ppl that dont have it.

Guitar Hero is like DDR when the DDR craze hit.

If a casual wants to buy it, they will try to get it on the cheapest system (unless someone suckers them into buying a particular system). If a "hardcore" wants to get it, they'll probably just wait for it to come out on their system. Guitar Hero is amazingly fun and addictive, but I don't know if it is anymore of a "system seller" than big-name games like Halo 3 or Gears of War are.

You said it was a system seller....Its not...It was MAYBE a system seller for the PS2.  It doesnt matter that the 360 version is better "casuals" will still buy it for the PS2...

NGS wont sell systems because the Playstaion is already saturated with Hack'n Slash,

360 lacks party games and Guitar Hero 2 is the King of Party Games.

NGS wont sell systems because the Playstaion is already saturated with Hack'n Slash,

360 lacks party games and Guitar Hero 2 is the King of Party Games.

If i was a causual gamer i would go buy it on the cheapiest system (PS2). Also, PS2 has less chance of breaking down. Why would this sell systems?

nice opinion. pretty soon something will overtake it. new controllers are fun for a while but they get old, even though im still having fun with the PS2 version
