I want some newer metal. Im over the classic rock and indie stuff.
Sure throw in a classic song here, and indie song there. and some fillers.
but I want good metal. Like, between the buried and me, or another every time i die song.
maybe some Maylene and the sons of disaster.
Slayer, GN' R, Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, and a bunch of other awesome bands are in the game. But where's Pantera? Where's Soundgarden? Megadeth? Filter? Judas Priest? ****load of other awesome bands who are "Legends of rock" yet aren't in the game? Meh. I mean this game is going to kick ass, but I hope they reveal more good tracks from the 80's and 90's instead of too much modern stuff.V_Isle
soundgarden is terrible.
and megadeath and slayer were in GHII soooo yeah.
hangar 18 and the trooper are great songs though. I just want more metal. im over pearl jam (personally i cant stand them at all, hate them, actually) and im tired of just other lame not as exciting songs.
True, but they're suing Harmonix/Red Octane for... no reason what so ever: http://www.dailygaming.net/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=230
My favorite excerpt is this one, personally: Attorneys for the gaming companies named in the lawsuit were bemused. "Our company paid a licensing fee to feature the track 'One' by Metallica in Guitar Hero III," counsel for Activision/Red Octane told reporters. "We don't understand why Metallica would turn around and sue us, unless they've gone from insane to completely bat-sh*t insane since 2001, but we're confident that the law and our contracts will be enough to have this thrown out." "
