I said at the beginning that i was not counting the unlockables (bonus) because almost all of them are lame... also Welcome to the jungle is not in rock band at all

Rock band is a huge piece of commercial trash

Even with good bands like Metallica, Soundgarden, etc. they chose the most overrated, overused songs that music "casuals" have heard of.

The Smashing Pumpkins "Cherub Rock" is actually part of Guitar Hero 3, not Rock Band. That being said though, I like the Guitar Hero 3 setlist a tad better.huskerhater15

that was a leaked demo from before they actually started getting licenses... the song never actually made it into the game probably because of it being in Guitar hero 3.

The problems I have with GH is no NIN. nothing with Criss Cornell and a better Red Hot Chili Peppers song.

I have played neither but Rock Band seems to have the better track list. But GH3 is cheaper if I were to buy one I would go with GH3.

Im also looking this as a video game not a song list. As I am used to playing expert on guitar hero and liking songs that are a challenge... I can't imagine having much fun with black hole sun even though its a good song... there could have been much more fun songs to play by soundgarden. Same goes for Nine inch nails, Trent Reznor is a genius, but unless I enjoy singing (which I don't) I am not gonna have fun playing many nine inch nails songs.

yeah I understand that. however since Rock Band was made by Harmonix (the first 2 guitar hero games) I am guessing that they understood what a song needed to have to be fun... I would not worried that the songs will be lame to play tbh. Also even though not all of them will be really hard there are some like the 10 minute Green Grass and High tides that will murder the guitarist.

Wow, Glitchspot is at an all time low today it seems. Everytime I try to quote something it tells me I can't quote from another topic, and then when I try to editor delete one ofmy posts, it tells me I have to be the author or a moderator to do that.

Anyway, what I was trying to say is that "Slither" is a track on the official sound track, which also has a code to unlock 3 new songs (none of which are worth mentioning if I remember correctly). I remember Velvet Revolver saying a while ago that "She Builds Quick Machines" would be in the game, but it's not on the final set list. I'm guessing that's the song that will go up for download, which is good because that's the one I really want to play.
