It's a shame that MTV didn't bring Rock Band to Wii. It could have taken some of that market share.

Not really. There are a lot of people who spent their money on other games. GH3 is very close to GH2, so it wasn't as appealing as the other 360 releases, especially this close to Xmas where money is at a premium. Lets see how the overall sales pan out over the next few months.
