Guitar Hero, 2 is a simple rhythm game that has no depth. All you do is press the buttons on the Guitar. It may be challenging but c'mon. Devs are just lazy. For $90 i'd better be doing more than just playing songs. People these games are rediculis!!
Depth... in a rhythm game... The game offers a challenge, replay value that's through the roof, and it's just plain fun. Plus, it's a great game to break out at a party. I don't see how changing this "lack of depth" could make this great game any better.
wtf?? guitar hero is incredibly hard on higher difficulty's. game dont have to have depth to be fun :roll: then you might as well say the same thing about DDR....
you have a problem with pressing buttons on a guitar? how about pressing buttons on a controller? you do it with every other game, so that must mean that no game is deep. or does changing the shape of the devise from a guitar to a gamepad suddenly give a game depth?

dude if you have that kind of dedication you should consider a real guitar, i have been playin for six years and guitar hero is nothing compaired to what you can do with an electric,acoustic guitar

for everyone who complains about the song selection in GH2 its not that they suck, its just that your to radio friendly of fans to know any of them. Go back to the more poppy GH1 then. Ill take Suicidal Tendencies anyday over Joan Jett.

It's still fun, and you realize how hard it would be to take real songs and make a game like that.

You could do a lot worse than listen to a poor cover of War Pigs. Oh, and the bonus songs were good too. Less Talk More Rokk and Trogdor rock my world.

Uhh, lemme guess you `played on normal/easy and got your ass handed after a few songs or changing difficulty right? Well I go back and have fun playing on expert.
I hate Guitar Hero/Rock Band and the like with a passion. As a bass player, it's hard for me to apply fingerstyIe to the controllers, and frankly the idea bores me anyways. The singing, though, is a good deal of fun. :P
