if i had the energy or thought it would do something i'd join him - im in closed beta and im pretty disappointed in DICE.

-no prone

-no parachute

-no leaving chopper unless it's landed (even if you spawn in it, have to wait)

-destruction is cookie-cutter, not dynamic, and MANY things cannot be destroyed

-tanks are useless

-soldiers have far too much health, some classes can take a clip in the chest

i could go on - but why :P

i dunno man, this was made by DICE Sweden and published by EA. you can't blame everything on EA, they assert little influence over many of the smaller dev houses they've absorbed.

it's because people irrationally hate them because it's easier to hate a big faceless corporation than the small dev houses that work under their wing. people frequently forget EA has little influence over pretty much all of the games they publish... but what am i trying to do, people don't listen to reason in SW :P

if any of you are hardcore BF fans you'd know DICE handles everything themselves, and they're perfectly capable of botching things up without the EA brand over their head.

enjoy your watered down BF experience :P i guess it is better than modern combat or whatever that crap one was called that came out for 360 last year. to each their own though, there's obviously a reason they make BF games different / more casual on consoles.

um - it is to many people. it's a terrible thing. a lot of our favorite franchises are getting more and more kiddie / casual and it doesn't make them as fun to play anymore. where's the challenge? where's the learning curve? where are the massive maps you'd get on the PC? where is the semi realistic health? what happend to tanks being able to mow infantry down?

i appreciate that you and others like it being more 'lag free' (never had lag on the PC ones btw) and easy to access - but you have to respect the fact that many many others think its kinda trashy and not fun ;)

Do you work for EA? Do you work for DICE?? How do you know that EA has little to do with this crap???

All I see is games that are published by EA have DLC that are already on the disc itself and than basicaly you just pay for a code to unlock the content. Example: NFS Pro-Street. $2.99 for a single friggin car!!!!!!!!!! It came from EA. It's EA who is doing that not DICE!! Belive me!!! Screw EA!

unlike most people in SW i pay attention to dev logs, interviews, and actively participate in official forums. something i highly recommend instead of getting all your info from system wars.

thinks that's about all i have to say on that ;) decisions about DLC are far different than actual game mechanics, which is what we were talking about.

I won't boycot it because I wasn't going to buy it in the first place.

Battlefield belongs to the PC platform, end of story.

Yeah but when they don't do it. It makes Firefox users look bad. When really Firefox is so much better than EI. It kinda of a pet peeve.
