Can't they just wait a couple of days? I mean common that is ridiculous.

I'm 90% sure it was just new accounts up bidding the copy just for s**** and giggles.

I doubt the final bid willl payout that much. I'd bet the guy maybe ends up with $100, if that. The game releases in 4 days and anybody with an ounce of sense would know that by the time the game ships you wont have made more then a few hours ground on people who just go to the midnight release.

I can understand it a little better if it was....say... Half life 3 and it was a very early beta copy or something, but 4 days or something from release and a game that will get a reindition and DLC that will drastically change the original game not far from launch...wow, what an idiot.

They should start selling copies a few weeks early that are like triple price. I bet alot of the uber fans would buy them. dkdk999

i could understand if it was, like, six months early, but the week before? i mean are you that anxious to play the campaign? i figure a fan that hardcore would be one of those MP obsessed people. good luck with that, considering no one else has the game yet.

I almost paid a guy $250 to get MGS4 a week early. Yes I loved MGS that much.

At that point MGS was still my favorite series and I figured with as many hours of replay value I got out of MGS2 and MGS3 it would be well worth it. Luckily some guy out bid me and saved me the misery of spending so much money on such a turd of a game. Even at $60 the game was a rip off.

Anyways, I'm sure this guys about to feel some buyers remorse.

Whoever Sold it is a Genious enough said... I need to get in into this sell games early business somehow.

The guy should have canceled his bid the instant he recognized he was paying that much money for a game releasing in a couple of days. I would never pay that much money for any game.
