GWG Sept: Super Time Force (X1), Halo Reach (360)

The "free" games for XBL Gold members has been announced for september

Additions being super time force on X1, Crimson Dragon will still be available

The big name game is Halo Reach on 360. Monaco will also be added for 360

And now y'all can debate about if PS+ or GwG is better this month

Shitty month....and I am tired of MS recycling the games on the X1. We got Crimson Dragon last month.

@lostrib: Damn, another bad month for PS+ and GWG. I still need to download Crimson Dragon though. I heard Monico was very good, so I'll definitely get that. Never played STF before, so I'll give it a try. Need to clear more space on my XBox 360. Everyone should already own Halo Reach. If not, this is a perfect time to pick it up. Pretty much the only must have game of the month.

It's hard on the X1 and PS4 because they really don't want to give away big quality value games yet.. I wanted to play super time force for a bit so I'm fine with it, but they really need to improve come the holidays.

Once the library grows they might move past this model. Recycling games.

Now if other publishers open EA access type services. I'm not sure where this will end up.

A lot of arcade games? Which I'm ok with. We'll see?

That sucks, I played about 5 minutes of Crimson Dragon and gave up. I'll give Super Time Force a shot I guess, might as well if it's free.

Super Time Force is the highlight for both PS+ and GWG for the month of Sept. I guess both Sony and MS are giving Destiny some play time.

The lack of content and games on these systems at this point in their infancy could play a part in this?

Should they give away their whole library as a business? I wish they would. I just don't think it's realistic at this point.

Destiny is up to pre-load now on Xbox One. So yeah I don't think it's a coincidence both GwG and Destiny news coming out the same day. They really want to give Destiny some play time in Sept.

Free is good though so this is where I stop nitpicking.

They should start giving out free movies too like someone else said. I know sony does but it's not part of plus. I saw some free doctor who episodes on there. Maybe it's easier for sony because they are also a movie/tv show company. I'll be surprised if sony doesn't also give ps2 game rental every month after psnow is out of beta.

I still need to beat reach though so this is good.

I tried to play it...the controls sucked and I didn't want to continue.

Ummm idk, I only used the controller and it still sucked....so if I had to sway like a twat I would have been even more annoyed.

Download.....and when I started the game kinect wasn't involved....maybe you can but all the prompts were for the gamepad. So I can't imagine how shitty it would control with kinect.

On the plus side, Super Time Force is an 81/100 at Metacritic. Pretty good. Too bad it's the only new game on Xbone's GwG. Crimson Dragon we know isn't good as we learned last month, Crimson was free for August, but as a refresher it was a very low 56/100.

Where's the competition? Why are M$ being so lame when the competition on PS+ isn't doing this and has been offering PS+ games since launch? I don't understand how they are letting the competition pull ahead like this. They have the money, they have the $400 Million dollar NFL deal, they bought timed exclusive Tomb Raider, what's the hold up on GwG?

Super Time force is actually a really good 2D game, I recommend you at least try it if you have not done so before.

I will download for sure and check it out, I'm just more annoyed with the Crimson Dragon thing.....they did that with Max 2 months in a row.

I never liked kinect for core games...it never really worked and I don't think it ever will. The only benefit is some voice commands during some games.

But I really like kinect for everything else it does with the Xbox One and I would miss it greatly if I didn't have it. And feel the people that are buying the kinectless X1 are missing out.

Warframe is coming to Xbox One on Sept 2. I think that's a free to play game.

Kinect should just be an add-on. It was the focus on creating games to be played solely with Kinect that killed it.

Kinect gets used for a lot of interesting things on the PC. I know some people use it for motion-capture, and some people have made some pretty impressive stuff doing that.

That's what I'd love to see on the Xbox. Give me a game that, on its own is great, but include within it a Spore-like character creator, and a Kinect motion capture feature. Let me build an enemy, or hero, and animate a move set for it. Then let me take that character and play a story with it, or let me take it online and kill other players with it.

That would be a "killer app" for Kinect.
