Uh, it is. A lot more people were wary of getting a 360 before they announced a three-year warranty extension and free repairs on all 360s. I actually know two people personally who only went and got a 360 after they knew they could have it fixed for free. So yes, it is a pretty big selling point. It's an unfortunate selling point, and it shouldn't BE a selling point, but it certainly is.
