I am in the COD 4 beta and was also in the Halo 3 beta and I must say that all Halo hype aside, I very much enjoyed COD 4 a lot better. COD 4 is just downright amazing and feels more fresh! Now dont get me wrong, Halo 3 was awesome as well and im getting it on day one, but just overall I think COD 4 plays better, is more intense and just amazing. For those of you that have played both.. What do you think?!
The CoD4 beta is very shallow, you can do more on one map of H3 then you can in the entire CoD beta.

I don't think so, once you hit lvl 11 the lvls seem to play the same. Campers on Overgrown, intense firefights on Vacants (the best map IMO), and Crash kind of plays as a mix of the two. Even though getting a chopper on Crash is complete murder to everyone else.
I love both of the betas but i do believe that cod4 has better graphics judging from playing both betas.Im a fan of both series so its really hard to say which will be better.After its all said and done though i believe ill end up spending more time with halo 3.Im buying both so it doesnt really matter to me.They will both be great games and id recommend anyone getting either.
Its kinda a wash.... I mean for me atleast, I felt the CoD4 beta was altl fresher b/c its my first mp CoD experience... PLus, I think the CoD beta has some more features representative of the final game.... The Halo beta was missing a lot...Overall, the Halo3 beta was still more enjoyable b/c it featured dif gametypes....and Highground ownz!
There both good betas.The only thing i think cod 4 has over halo 3 is graphics.Not saying halos graphics are bad bud just judging by the betas cod4 seems a lot more detailed.
halo 3s multiplayer overall in the final game will beat the crap out of cod4s final multi. saved films, more options to customize your own gametype and stuff, forge. cod4 cant touch it.
