I dont know if this is old or not, but I just downloaded the halo 3 campain trailer. I really have to say it looks good but not great, the bar has been risen on graphicsby other games. What the hell has bungie been doing for all this time. Watch the trailer, Im not a hater the 360 is my main console. Graphically I was just expecting more. Not mutch else besides graphics seems to have changed. I will be buying this game anyway.

Apparently the actual game looks much better. Many have said that the single player demo was incredible and should have been shown instead of that trailer. Some have even said that it comes close to Crysis graphics.

I wasn't impressed. All 3 major shooters this year look standard, to say the least. FYI, those major shooters would be Metroid Prime 3, Killzone 2 and Halo 3.

I hope so, I really been looking forward to this game. I always thought bungie never showed any campain footage because it was going to blow everyones mind. The trailer must not do it justice.

Exactly, im not basing Halo 3 off that trailer. Although it looked awesome its gunna look much better than people will expect.

I not bashing at all. I would have posted this in the 360 forum but not much responses there. I been wanting this game mainley for multiplayer.

Nothing comes close to crysis. Crysis could look even more amazing if they took out all the AI, physics, real time day changing, and all that jazz and make it look a million times better. Like ive said about forza2 haters. Technically speaking forza2 is the most amazing racer ever with how much is going on at one time. The physics are insane. The damage is awesome. you can watch all the little details that are happening to your car as you drive. Thats why its the most realistic racer out there. Not to mention we still have yet to see DX10 or DX10.1. So they should hold there judgement till the actual gamecomes out.

Like the one kid said. The actual demo that they had to play. Ive heard looked better than what they showed at the MS press conference. Does anyone know if theres going to be a demo??? Im guessing not but i would like to play it before i buy it.

they threw it together at the last minute when they found out they couldn't have the demo ready for E3.

every reporter says The game looks amazing. judging from the new screens, i believe them. they were all surprised by the bad trailer.

Why are you comparing gears of war graphicsto halo 3 graphics? Its a totally different game. Gears of War relies on graphics and the dark grey colors to immerse the player in the world. The maps are much smaller and the world is much smaller in gears of war. Halo 3's graphics won't look like gears of war because it is in huge environments, has vehicles, and many more enemies on screen at one time. Bungies has stuck to the traditional halo art style, which is vibrant colors and open colorful environments. Why do you think gears has hardly anything going on at one time and is in a much smaller space? Not to mention it is only 8 players online. Gears uses dark bland colors to hide alot of stuff as well. If it was as colorful as Halo and as big of game as halo it wouldnt look that great. But it is pointless to compare the two because they both have different art style and gameplay.

the big diffrence between halo 3 and Gears of war, you have MANY MANY people on screen at the same time, in gears it was top 10 and the color is a lot better inn halo 3. so that is way halo 3 is better looking and more teknological advanced game

Dont worry, I agree.  It was a bit dissapointing but like people have been saying, apparently the demo bungie had looks better than the trailer
