Halo 3 didnt win any of the Best of E3 07 Awards

I think this game is not gonna score very high . Probably a 9.0 . All the game sites dont seem very excited about it since it was Overshadowed by games like COD4 and Killzone 2 .

People have come to expect such greatness from the Halo series, that just showing stuff from it doesn't have the WOW factor anymore. It shines in playing it, not showing it. It's a whole standards thing.Splincir

Well, maybe you could enlighten me because even I don't know what Halo 3s story is.

halo 3 will still core high, but media such as ign, GT4, GT, and kotaku all said the graphics didnt impress them, and i agree with them. the funny thing is , back when halo 3 beta screens where release, all the lemmings where saying halo 3 sp is going ot blow away, KZ2, UT 3 and Gears of war graphically. and guess what? it didnt lol. mazdaspeed-rx8

Halo 3 / UT 3 - have solid gameplay (Im more of a fan of UT than Halo) , Crysis has good gameplay , but is mostly open ended. Bioshock is open-ended FPS-RPG goodness (GOTY imo) , MP3 is interesting.

Call of Duty 4 ... is just ... another army game ... army game number 124102398124098123 where you run through streets of gunfire shooting generic conventional weapons with so much American Patriotism it makes you want to puke.

this is why lemmings make me laugh. first they said, halo 3 is going to pwn KZ2, GEOW, and UT3 graphically. now that the game is out, they all of sudden act like they never said such a thing. (btw this is not to you Splin, just some fanboys )mazdaspeed-rx8

The main reason why it didn't win awards is because, it looks like Halo. What were you expecting? All 3 Halo games look exactly the same..except Halo 2, that one was the most massive failures in single player ever created. Multiplayer was great though. I'm expecting Halo 3 to be the same as Halo 2, horrible single player that will be 4 hours long and a great multiplayer addition. Thank god this is the last of the series. Halo 2 was hyped up so much. I love Halo 1, that had one of the best single player experiences I have ever had in a FPS. Then came Halo 2 and destroyed it. It was horrible in almost every way. The only thing that kept me from trading it in was the multiplayer. That was great. So I'm expecting Halo 3 to be the same.dream431ca
