thank you. strangleholds graphics are awful. the only thing good is the fact that stuff explodes and flies all over the place.

Bugnie decided to use the same engine so they can mainly focus their development time on gameplay. Why they didn't just liscensed other game engines like Unreal is beyond me.

The graphics may not be best looking out there, but it is not that bad neither.

everyone seems to expect a game to look like gears color wise and what not. id wager that if gears never came out, people wouldnt be saying all this crap about halo 3. its art direction makes it look the way it is. and besides, halo 3 has better textures if you ask me.

why the heck would there be a color light green and purple in a game like killzone?

kz2 is not as futuristic as halo3, halo3 got cartoonish graphics, but it does look good.

I am no fanboy its just i think kz2 tops halo3. im not sure about gameplay yet, cause i havent played both.

it looks great but Halo3 is almost to be released while kz2 has so much time in developement. and its already on par

I'm impressed by KZ2's visuals, but I'll be blown away if they can pull it off in levels the same size and draw distance of Halo3.

Gears of war actually had some nice colors in certain places and wasn't all just MUD graphics

It might be going for the dark and gritty feel. But it still managed to add some nice colours. And it's art****was really unique. The environments looked like a painting:

Anyway for all the people that think halo 3 looks like crap are wrong, like iv being saying for a long time realistic visuals don't mean they are technically better than games using bright colours and effects you wouldn't see in real life. lighting-killzone 2 has amazing lighting, but so does halo 3, honestly from watching the new halo 3 trailers the two games come close, but the winner is killzone

poly count- halo 3, for the total amount of polys on screen i think it would be halo 3, with 10miles of geometry, but there's no doubt killzone 2s character models have more polys.

Textures-Halo 3-As of now, halo 3s textures are far more detailed then killzones.
