The scoring system, and scoring criteria are ever evolving, don't try to make something out of this that isn't there.
Halo 3 received 9.5 what a 2 years ago? uncharted 2 is receiving it now...Its called evolution of a system.
No, then Bungie would have had two additional years to improve on the game, and we would be talking about a 10.Standards change, if Halo 3 was released now it would score about 8.0.

Yeah, but seems that Bungie took the two years doing a new campaign to launch a game with the same graphics and a few changes called ODST, instead the brutal improves in the engine, artistic design and gameplay -including the mp- that Uncharted 2 has.

ODST was made by 10-15 people in 14 months, while the rest (around 200 people in total on Bungie) was and is working on Reach.

You mean the shame the 360 fanboys are going to feel? I couldn't resist.Standards change, if Halo 3 was released now it would score about 8.0.

OMG PS_John is back!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I think it will get an 8.5 from what I have seen of the game. If it's better than that, then it will be a pleasant surprise.

It's just an expansion. I don't think it will score so high. No, then Bungie would have had two additional years to improve on the game, and we would be talking about a 10.[QUOTE="LegendaryCake"][QUOTE="PS_John"]

Give Bungie a break.
There still drunk with money and power from Halo 3's sales.LOL
seriously I give Uncharted 2 props as it looks like a very quality game.
So why not compare Uncharted 2 to more recent 9.5 scoring games on ign then.
I'm wondering why the TC is comparing it to Halo as it is obvious that he admires and thinks about Halo.
