Halo 3 in direct X10 would be great for Hermits....

I could care less like the rest of us hermits. Ive never been a halo fan anyways and theres going to be way better games out by then. Wait there already are better games out than halo3. O well. You cant win them all.

well the sales would indicate otherwise. The Hate for Halo 3 is so funny.

It would be completely outdated by that time.

I really doubt that. Hermits know a good console shooter is no match for a good PC shooter. If Halo 3 came on the PC, just to get it on par with other PC shooters, they would have to:

A) increase the graphics

B) Include a Map maker that can make maps from scratch, not just move a box.

C) More Multiplayer options

A few other tweaks and maybe it could be on par with some PC shooters, but not to the level of Crysis.

actually, with the graphics in Halo 2 PC it may as well be DX8.... Vista only but still looks like crap and doesn't use DX10 in any way. They just milked Halo.

Far Cry PC sold 4 million copies. Halo 2 PC hasn't even reached a million yet.... I think thats a good indicator.

You kidding!? I'd get that on launch. I'm a huge Halo fan. And I'm as hermit as hermit can be. Heck, I still remember when Halo was first dubbed as PC exclusive while development was still in its infancy.

Halo 3 will be a joke on the Pc, just like the previous 2 ... well Halo CE not so much ... but its unbalanced gameplay (Good balance, but too easy with mouse controls, they didnt comprimize while porting)...

It will not outsell Crysis.

Um wow way to words in my mouth. Did i ever say it was bad??? um no. So shut it. I could care less about sales or reviews for that matter. Yes and there are better games out on PC than halo3 right now. Halo series has always been second class next to PC FPS.
