You can disparage it. You can hate it. You can knock on it. The bottom line is that your personal hatred for the esteemed franchise will not stop the franchise from being so beloved. We are talking about a franchise that generated the fastest selling media product in US HISTORY (3rd fastest in UK). And this was on a console that only sold 21 mil worldwide. Halo 3's release will be a historical event. People will buy it, and you will continue to hate it and you will cry because you cannot stop it from selling and being an outstanding game.

Possiby. But I hear too many fanboy hating statements I just had to try to equalize it because for everybody that hates it there is 10 people that love it. Also I just finished watching the vidoc and man I am too hyped for the beta. I will cherish those three weeks or whatever it is and play the crap out of the beta when it is launched like nobodys business. Forza 2 and CnC3 can wait.

i see where your coming from and i to am hyped for halo3, but making a topic with the title "halo3 is god" and then start giving reasons why you feel halo3 will be the best game ever...isnt going to change the minds of those who..,for whatever reason..hated the series.

Well, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Yes, Halo is a great series, but comparing it to God and saying that the worth of a disk is more than me and everyone other living being on the planet, I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Maybe it's just me, but I like considering myself worth more then an inanimate object. :P

That, and Halo is NOT the greatest series ever. It's good, even great, but to call it the best is only opinion.

You really think GS cares about hype? Zelda TP proves you wrong. And ofcourse games had lower standards 6 years ago. 6 years from now people will say we had lower standards in 2007, that's natural. OOT, the critically acclaimed "greatest game of all time" by so many is #1 NOT because of it's comparison to todays standards, but for what it did for it's time's standards. Halo is great for this reason as well. ;)

Halo 3 is self-parody. Therefore I don't need to respond to this thread. 

Halo is good but not god or better than a person.

All you can expect now days from halo is great online/multiplayer...nothing more. Its story seems to be getting stale and not as interesting anymore.

Even its graphics don't seem to be getting any better. Thats not to say it isn't a fun game..but like i said, thats concerning multiplayer/gameplay.

Yeah ok Halo is garbage right? That's why people named it GOTY on many sites and reviewers, why it scored high, both games even, and why millions of us play and still play it to this day. With Halo 2 still being heavily played right now online still to this day.
