Halo 3 has sold over 1 million already and people are startin to get 360s cause of it. Bioshock is also owning in the market. PS3 has NO good games except for resistance. Even the Wii is beating it. that really tells u somethin.
with a $400 ps3 and sony's 08 lineup sony will start selling more next year and pull even around holiday 08 and then with blu-ray winning will really start to pull ahead in 09. wii will sell well for another year before falling off. it will be close this time around, extremely close and this gen may be short lived especially given the wii's last gen tech, and MS's likelihood to strike first in releasing the next system.

Sarcasim aside the diffrence was the PS2 was cheap and had games out for it.
well 399 is cheap same as the elite 360 plus rachet and clank will start to make people see that there beloved games are on the way that the ps 2 had that made it so great. plus halo 2 and 1 did not save the xbox what makes you think 1 halo game will do it. i think this gen halo 3 will die before the othersdid because new next gen gameswill make it out dated.

While I think this Gen will be very close in the end there really is no way the PS3 will be close to the 360 by the end of next year. I stated this in another thread but I will do it again. The 360 has over 6 million more consoles sold to date then the PS3. That means that the PS3 will need to sell 500k units each month until the end of next year while the 360 sells absolutely none. Now does that seem likely? Don't get me wrong I think the total sold at the end of this Gen will be very close but with the 1 year lead the 360 will be ahead of the PS3 (probably less then a few million units though). The Wii will lose momentum but will still end up in first.

exactly the 360 gota major head start and is still strong thanks to the amazing games like halo 3 and gears. the PS3 just cant catch up top the 360 in my opinion. As for the Wii it is selling more than the PS3 and thats a proven fact. Only problem is that the gamecube failed last gen partly because the xbox and the PS2 were better in graphics and were practilly computers due to the fact the gamecube was meant only for games. The gamecube fell out of the race last gen the wii does look promisssing so far. It wont det knocked out easily.
Well its been out for a few weeks now and my ps3 hasnt blown up yet so id say everthings ok. Off topic, anyone know if Okami's worth 30$ canadian? Cheapest i could find and i really want it.

It will not change anything. The last RnC game 2.17 million copies out of 120 million PS2. RnC 1,2 or 3 did not sell over 3 million.
The PS3 has more good games than just resistance, and the Wii is beating nothing unless you include toasters and other such electrical appliances.SolidSnake35
