halo 3 live huge problems

first of all

it took me 3 tries and about half an hour to download 1 of my friend's halo 3 saved videos which was 1.2 MB.

my connection goes at 90/k a second normally on my compy, so that should have taken less than a minute.

this is inexusable microsoft, what am i paying 50 bucks a year for???

secondly, if you go under xbox live tag "mastacaboose", you will see another lag error caused by xbox live's p2p networking.

my friend shoots a guy on a ghost THROUGH A TREE. the shot stops at the tree, the decal is there and everything, but the impact goes through the tree and the guy falls over dead.

go watch it if you don't believe me.

i personally have played just over 100 ranked matches and have been in around 5 games with a bad connection so i can't complain too much.

Well, I've encountered a few bits of lag, but no downloading problems.

Besides, the game is still in its infancy. Patches will fix most of these problems.

I think Bungie easily has the best track record as far as releasing updates and supporting it's online play. So i'm not worried...and besides what is there to worry about? So what, a shot went through a tree...deal with it. Unless you are in the final round of some kind of Halo 3 tournament and 1 million dollars is on the line.........does it really matter all that much to constitute being a "huge" problem?

And i've always had great speed in downloading files...so perhaps it's your connection? I dunno, but I haven't had anything but fast downloads.

Well i've had this to say... the DL stuff isn't too big an issue with me... I honestly don't think it is problematic, have had little difficulties..

but for lag. Anyone worth their weight in gold knows it's connection issues too. Like our last few games on YOUR connection. :P

Well, unlike Epic, Bungie actually knows how to fix aproblem without creating five more. Their work on Halo 2 proves this. Halo 2's online play was pretty open to cheaters, modders and had a ton of glitches and exploits such as the infamous Rocket Sword and the ability to pass a flag through a wall. Just about all of the glaring problems were fixed in the first patch, so I have faith in them.

Damn, those are some HUGE problems. I'm selling my 360 right now because of this, unbelievable..MTBare

Halo fan in denial?? MMmmm idk, I have'nt heard any problems. I'll probably ask my friends 2marrow if they ever encounter anything unusual.

I'm just tired of being forced into games I didn't want to play (NO MORE SHOTTY SNIPERS ON NARROWS! ENOUGH!) and I'm tired of vetoing a map I don't like, but no one else vetos.

... and who could forget the priceless moment when a map you vetoed on gets vetoed, only to be forced into an even worse map with an even worse game type.

I will not call Halo3 the best online multiplayer until they change the random game selection. I don't pay to have the game select maps for me.

The only problem with Halo 3 is that it requires a really good connection to play it online, anything else is lagged like a mofo.

And if anyone knows how to change one's router from moderate to open, please message me, I'd be in your debt forever.

If not, which has the best sledgehammers, Lowes or Home Depot?

Halo 3 is so laggy for me that I have stopped playing it. People think they're so good because you shoot them in the head 5 yes count them 5 times with the sniperand they don't die, run up and shoot you once and you die. (I have the video) it makes me so angry I have forced myself to stop playing the game. Yes Halo 3 has huge problems, and if you don't think it does you have been playing the whole time with a good connection.SauceCaptain

cry more noob.... i play from South Korea and have only lagged in 1 game so far out of like 70 or so. Lrn2play or just go away.
