I know KZ2 is technically superior. But Halo 3 is more eye pleaseing way more colorful and vibrant.
Halo 3 looks better as a whole from it's artistic advantages and colors and vibrant

I know, but it's not like anyone plays Killzone 2 for the graphical side of things anyway, Guerrilla were obviously focused on gameplay over graphics.
All it has over Killzone 2 is art direction, art direction is Killzone 2's biggest weakness in graphics, otherwise Killzone 2 destroys Halo 3 graphically overall.

Yes and art direction reallyneeds to be talked about more. like I said halo 3 looks more pleaseing to the eye so this has to be noted as it looking better to the human eye;)
Ha in before the fanboys. I get what you are saying here, Halo 3 has some VERY nice lighting effects, while Killzone 2 has almost no lighting..
WiiMan21
Color and vibrence and over all art direction and variation destroy KillZone 2 in this respect.
NO LIGHTING!!! I hate to argue but ARE YOU SERIOUS!? I mean alot of places are dark but he lighting is spectacular!Ha in before the fanboys. I get what you are saying here, Halo 3 has some VERY nice lighting effects, while Killzone 2 has almost no lighting..

I love art direction, but too bad System Wars goes by technical graphics, which is why Crysis is graphics king until Crysis 2 or Project Offset.Artistically speaking Halo 3 was better, and the lighting was also better. But Killzone 2 is overall, superior:
Halo 3:
Killzone 2
The clear winner is obvious.
I think both are very good artistically...
Halo 3 is coulourful for the most part, which works well with the floaty run and gun gameplay. The enemies dont really look too fearce which means you end up really pushing it sometimes, i always founf myself trying to kill thosebig guys with the hammers by hitting them and jumping over their heads when they used the hammers XD
But Killzone 2 is very gritty. i love thosesty1e with no roof, theyre pretty awesome, the ISa ships are nice too. But the real starts are the Helghans. The red glowing eyes against the darrk grey background is brilliant and the enemy ships look great.
grey =/= bad art.... In fact some of the most famous pictures ever are in black and white. MC escher anyone???
IM NOT SAYING KILLZONE TWO IS BETTER
Just making it clear Im not posting halo 3 pics becuase someone already did... Not becuase i hate the game or something.
Bullshots of Halo 3, please, that game has jaggies.

Not on my tv maybe on some smaller LCD tv's but not on my big 1080P it's smooth as butter no AA issues.
[QUOTE="enterawesome"][QUOTE="mitu123"]Are you talking of my screens? :? Those screens are bullshots, the gamehas jaggies, I notice them on my LCD monitor. How? You can see jaggies all over the second screen. Its not like their mine anyway, and I made it clear Killzone 2 looks better. Why the fuss?Bullshots of Halo 3, please, that game has jaggies.

He admits that Killzone 2 is technically more advanced (graphics wise) than Halo 3.
He just prefers Halo's visuals. That is his opinion and I agree.
I like colorful games...
Fact: An opinion can never be wrong!
So there's no need for 20+ pages in this thread.
A serious thread should atleast contain a question...
Hey, killzone 2 uses pretty realistic lighting... http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/game-types/shooter/the-most-light-sources-in-one-killzone-2-scene---$1267347$1264900.htm In one scene in KZ2 there were 350 light sources. EACH helghasts eyes lights actually realisticly lights up their bodies and surrounding envoronments... If you play the very first level you go into a big abandoned building with a broken roof, that shows off the lighting very well...Ha in before the fanboys. I get what you are saying here, Halo 3 has some VERY nice lighting effects, while Killzone 2 has almost no lighting..

Do you sit far away to not see, because I see them up close. The screens were there to make it clear KZ2 looked better, stop harping on "bullshots" when they aren't. The game has a few jaggies, but it's not nearly on the level you seem to be exaggerating. I have put enough time in the game to know. Those screens look just like what I played the other day.[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="enterawesome"]Are you talking of my screens? :?enterawesomeThose screens are bullshots, the gamehas jaggies, I notice them on my LCD monitor. How? Nah, it just those screens look too good, the jaggies aren't that noticeable in the 2nd screen. Don't worry about it, I got carried away, LOL.

You mean that a personal preference can never be wrong. I could have the opinion that Halo 3 has better graphics than KZ2 technically, but I would be wrong.

you are clearly blind, anyone knows killzone is the consoles graphics king
only that halo is colorfull, killzone is more has a WAR ambient
L30KinG
It may be graphics king technically, but that doesn't change the fact it only uses two colour pallets throughout the entire game.

Yeah, both games look better in motion than screens, that's something we can all agree on.

Halo 3 is not visually pleasing at all
Agreed, one of the worst ive seen this generation. You must have seen a lot of photo-realistic stuff then.[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="enterawesome"]Yes you did, now I'm crying  Kidding, there are jaggies, but I just picked the best looking screens I could find right away for both games.enterawesomeYeah, both games look better in motion than screens, that's something we can all agree on.If only we could put embed videos on the forums...
