Halo 3 Looks Great - Cows are Jealous!

Seeing the single player graphics is THE biggest thing I am waiting for when it comes to Halo 3.

Well, I guess not...

I've seen enough lately to say it has majorly improved from prior screen shots and videos.

Gameplay I have no doubt will be top notch.

the most played xbox 1 live game is a screw up? i didn't know that.   i love the single player campaign.

Ok first and foremost, anyone who says the leaked zanzibar footage looks like Halo 2 is a complete fanboy. Art wise the game does look simiar, and it is supposed to look similar - its the same dang game. I wouldn't expect MGS4 to look like Mario Galaxy.

 If you get a chance to view or download the HD version of the video you can see just how amzing some of the detail is. The lighting and textures look great and this map is not even finished.

 

So all the cows can make their pointless threads because they are stuck playing Resistance over and over again (no offense towards resistance, I own it and love it) but in th end all the negativity comes from a sad place in their hearts where they want to play Halo 3.

To say Halo 3 looks great right now is either misinformed or ignorant.  Bungie even said most of what you are seeing is *Alpha* stuff.  Now I saw that supposed leaked Zanzibar video, and even if that is real Beta stuff.  It does not look good, and they are probably releasing the Beta with the old build graphics and just want to test out the gameplay.  To say that Halo 3 looks like it should or will by release is pure fanboyism.  The only way to "defend" the slew of Halo 3 hate is to note to people that it is all Alpha build graphics, and that's it.

Why don't you post some of those next-gen halo pics then?;)

I thought the leaked videos of Zanzibar looks great, actualy better than the Vid Docs that have been released up untill now. Its obvious that the graphics are only getting betterVividScientific

Same. I play halo2 all the time every day almost. It looks way better than Halo 2 and a tad bit better than the vidoc.  

I think that I might be called a Cow since I only have a PS3 right, but I also have a fairly good PC. I'm planning to buy the new Xbox Elite douring the summer after I saved some money for it.

But let's get to the point. Halo 3 does look terrible. It should look way better than it looks now! I'm sorry guys but it's the sad truth. It's as true as the Wii has bad grapichs! (And no! it doesn't have a great gameplay, it bored the hell out of me) I betting the Elite because of Gears of War. That's the only reason! I played Halo 1....from start to end on a PC. It was a terrible game as well. Shooting dwarfs and smurfs in space constitutes as a good shooter??? Give me a brake!!! Anyways! Let's see how Halo 3 comes along. But as of right now....it looks like crap!

I agree with his assesment of the original Halo on pc and Halo 3. It looks completely uninspired and definitely not next gen. Call me cow, but I am by no means jealous of that!
