The AR isn't as detailed and realistic as the Hog. It doesn't have any innards, it does have a blue ammo counter though which is cool.

It kinda is for a movie... kinda. It's made by WETA, Peter Jackson's company. I forget his name, but an indy director is making a short film set in the Halo universe which will be released as a series of shorts over the internets and marketplace on the run up to Halo 3. The film from E3 "Arms Race" was one of them.

Just goes to show you how far technology has come when people can actually get fooled into thinking a real-life image was computer-generated. Or maybe we can just chalk it up to intense fanboyism.

By the way, I don't blame anybody at all if they make that mistake with pics of some of the environments in Alan Wake. Seriously. I saw this side-by-side comparison of a mountain road in Alan Wake next to a real-life photograph of the mountain road that it was modeled directly after, and it was honestly hard to tell the difference unless you look closely. That game is going to own some souls.
