Halo 3 may get delayed 2 months?

According to IGN, problems with the development may cause it to be delayed from 1-2 months

halo launches arent exciting anyways. for me halo 2 just popped outta no where with critics going, "teh dualwield,so much gameplay! you can carry two weapons! teh AAA! teh AAA!". I bought it, then gave it to my little brother who is 9, he gets first place everytime on XBL. And as for me, I went back to CSKoalakommander

How can there be a delay if there has not even been a official release date announced yet?

The only thing we know is its scheduled to come out in 2007. Unless it comes out in 2008 there is no delay.
