Halo 3 might flop.

Joe Fielder and Greg Kasavin who previously worked at Gamespot reviewed the previous Halo games. So who does that leave? Most likely the person who spent the most coverage in Halo 3 within Gamespot's editorial team and that is Jeff Gerstmann.

He gaveHalo 2 Vista a score of 7.0(Which is the same exact game) and it doesnt seem like he's very optimistic about Halo 3 at all. He didnt even like Halo 2 when it came out on the Xbox, he stated he only played for the first few days and never played it again and also out of all the previews, Jeff's preview seemed least optmisitic of all the general gaming websitessaying that it was "same old" (Which its not since Halo 3 is completely different from Halo 2). He's also very used to flopping games like most recently Zelda : TW. Im afraid that might flop the best FPS in history :cry:

PC games are held to higher standards, besides, didn't it take 2 or 3 yearsafter Halo 2 was released on the Xboxfor it to come out for the PC?

From all the stuff I have seen of Halo 3the chance of it flopping is less than 5%.

If it does get 8.5, it will mean rfom is the better shooter according to gamespot, and will lead to more porn suicide then zelda tp is my bet/numba1234

I dont think MS cares what Halo 3 scores. It will sell a crapload no matter what score it gets.

I am not going to even see the score until I played Halo 3 and beat it. :lol:

he didn't flop zelda, he gave it an 8.8 which means it's great. The reason he didn't score it higher is because it's the excact same thing we've seen before, It's just more Zelda. Maybe he will do the same with Halo or maybe he won't. It really depends on if Halo is something new and better or just the same thing in HD

I wouldnt be shocked in the least if Halo 3 scored a 8.5! Im sorry, I played the beta and while it was fun and exciting at first, the games quickly became ld hat. Team Shotty Snipers on Valhalla.....OK, try to grab the Sparten Laser..now go camp their base and kill as they respawn!!! Rinse and repeat...ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! If Halo is the worst FPS in history then why did more people play both Halo and Halo 2 on PC in June than the counterstrike in your sig. Is Halo the best FPS ever, probably not however it is impossible to measure one amazing game from another since its opinion that makes you buy the game. I dont like MGS I find it boring however I realize that its my opinion and that it is actually an amazing franchise. Subject your fanboyism in another thread in methods that atleast have some measure of reality.
