Right now its Bad Company 2, and I don't see that changing for the forseeable future.

That's actually a good point, considering DICE is making the online. That showed they are serious about the game, at least to me.

Yeah, Medal of Honor looks interesting. One wonders if it will follow BC2's example or if the multiplayer will be more like MW2's. But yeah, I'd agree with that statement, TC. You may want to add Counter-Strike to that list, though, otherwise some people will remind you about it... :PL4D2?

same, although i haven't had a chance to play any other fps games lately other than Bioshock 2 (which was surprisingly fun)

It could concievably go either way, although knowing they want to focus on realism, coupled with the fact that DICE is making it, leads me to believe it will end up more pseudo-realistic than Call of Duty-esque.

Yes, but on the other hand, DICE isn't going to carbon-copy the multiplayer from the Battlefield games... or at least, I hope not. Maybe it'll be an old school shooter? One can dream...[QUOTE="psn8214"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] Yeah, Medal of Honor looks interesting. One wonders if it will follow BC2's example or if the multiplayer will be more like MW2's. why click in to a thread about FPS's then if you hate them so much. doesn't make senseI find FPS games mind-numbing, but SWAT 4 is fun.

i've always found the twitch based gameplay of a great FPS compelling and challenging. doom, quake, TF/2, unreal, goldeneye, PD, halo, half life etc. but then again i would find a interactive Japanese cartoon mind numbing. takes all sorts i guess![QUOTE="Yandere"][QUOTE="doobie1975"] so what is it you find mind numbing about them then.doobie1975

Also, I don't understand how you find "interactive Japanese cartoons" mind-numbing as you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

Care to elaborate on how they are? I'm just curious as it is a genre I never looked at.

Well certainly that's not what the genre is called, it's called "visual novel". They're pretty much point and click adventure games but the games focus more on character interaction than puzzles.
Just like adventure games/books/movies it has different genres and there are good games and bad games.

1.) Get equated with the Adventure genre
2.) Learn more about anime/manga
It's easy to understand why you think they look so young because they have no wrinkles or annoying features real women have (matters on the artstyle though). You should focus less on age because I doubt you will be able to guess ages of anime/manga girls right now.
Counter Strike is still king. TF2 ain't bad either. Had fun with CoD and Halo but not as much as either of those.
Forgot about L4D. That's top 3 for sure. 1st was better than the second because the 4 survivors were more entertaining, and the level design is much better in the 1st (solely because of the no mercy campaign).

I find the special infected that were added in L4D2 make it the superior game by far over L4D1.
i though the 2nd was better. better weapons, enemies and environments. love both to bit though.Forgot about L4D.
