Halo 3: ODST = AAA/AAAA

If ODST doesn't score AAA/AAAA, I will leave system wars forever. Seriously, I have the game, this > combat evolved in each's respective time in every single way (i do own the game, i'm french). The reason I say I'll leave is not because for some bet, but rather that iif ODST scores AA or below it sort of proves that people no longer like games but rather only the versus multiplayer, which is pathethic.

And I guess this is why I made the thread--> why do people care about competive multiplayer so much that they ignore the rest of the game? Hell, there's probably only 5 games this generation that you'd consider to play versus multiplayer for more than a day.

And sometimes there's threads talking about epic moments in gaming. ODST has tons and the final level, my god, you guys will crap your pants when you play it.

Just to be clear when you say epic, do you mean like epic in the sense of what I did to finish off bosses in God of War 2? (I won't spoil) Because that was definitely epic/insane/ or whatever you want to call it.

i dont know why anyone he fighting over these scores. few have played it at all.and those most likely havent played all of it.so well just have to wait and see. but i seriously cant see a bungie made halo game score any lower than a 9on gamespot. their track record shows they love their bungie. oh and btw, im gonna hold u to that whole if its not at least AAA ill leave forever.

It will be a great AA game imo. Still im sure the oficial hype in 2 or 3 threads was AA aswell

Sure. But to be honest, this thread has a funny smell to it. Smells like someone overhyping a certain game I wont mention only to make the "impact of flopping" bigger. I do think it'll get AAA tho, you know, because it's Halo. We'll see if the game actually deserves those scores when it's actually released. killerfist

The gameplay vids showed me all the things I love and miss about Halo: CE. Seriously, I love the new throwback stamina system so the health works in the same way it did in Halo: CE. They also brought back the pistol with scope which dramatically changes the gameplay from Halo 2 or 3. The new story line looks awesome when we were shown the E3 2003 demo of Halo 2 it looked as though we were talking the fight to earth and were going to get to play more on the ground in New Mombasa. The new visor looks really cool, it shows your checkpoints uptop which I really like and there is also no RADAR!

I loved Halo 2 and 3's multiplayer but I didn't really enjoy the single player as much as I did in Halo: CE. To me, even though you aren't playing as MC, this really is what Halo 2 should have been.

That's why I say 9.5. Also will be getting CoD:MW2, and L4D2.

So, it's amazing because they now have characters that patrol? The year 2004 called. It wants credit for it's innovations that are now practically standard. You're a lone action hero character? Hmmm... where have a seen that before?

Anyway, name a game witha patrol system that I described. Honestly, do it. I can't.

And also, the attention to detail, which can be found throughout-- not just in custscenes, is remarkable and respects and compliments the lore. For example, they even include Amber Clad, which is so freaking tiny in ODST due to pespective, but they took the time to script it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2HpmoyALOc

I'm guessing it could range to an average of 7.5-9.0. I have both mix feelings about this game and I can imagine it as being letdown or great. As much as I love Halo I would have to wait for the reviews for this one.
