overated in many ways. its a good game, but people expect it to magically become revolutionary, when its almost impossible to do with FPSs. Especially considering the change in the third one seems minimal at best.
It's going to be the greatest game to date. Bungie admitted that they screwed up with Halo2, and they're taking the time to perfect Halo 3, just like they did Halo 1. I agree with Bungie 100%. I just cannot play Halo 2 multiplayer. I just can't get enough of Halo 1 though...

Sort of, I dont like it because as a PC gamer first, Halo didn't real add anything new for me. I can see why people like it, but at least as far as PC FPSs, its a shallow game with little replay value when compared to other larger shooters. But about the thrid, like I said before, people are expecting it to be something, which it physically wont. Halo 2 was good because of XBL...But Halo 3 doesn't seem to change much. The funniest threads though, are the ones who hype Halo 3 to be GOTY, when none of the past Halos, were GOTY, and as we all know, Sequels are generally worse then the original.
If Halo was on PS3 or PC only they would not be hating on it, and the funny thing is Halo is on the Platform that sold the least last gen but still made this HUGE of a name for it's self, or did the GC sell less?

Most likely, By the time Halo 2 came out, PC FPS were starting to become much bigger scalled, and moving into class bassed battlefields. What I mean is while Halo is only a shooter, games like Battlefield and Enemy Territory let you do things like become a medic, and revieve/heal teamates, be an engenere and repair vehicals, build defensive posts, plant mines to guard bases, do things like call in Artillary, Mortars, reinforcments. They had such aspects as "mobile spawns" advanced OBJ. gameplay (ET is a good example of this) These types of FPS are fun, becuase they offer huge and varied maps with lots to do besides the standard killing. The Fact is, the only game to even remotly do this on consoles is COD3, which is still nowhere close to games like BF1942.

There isnt duel weilding on halo on the pc. and halo on the pc doesnt feel right, at all There is dual Weilding on PC Halo, with Mods we have already put in every single feature of Halo 2, and soon to be Halo 3, in Halo 1.

How is it not? It's my humble opinion, nothing more. I had more fun playing 16 player Halo tournaments over system link than I ever had with any other first person shooter in the entire world, and I've played through an unimaginable amount of first person shooters...

I can see why you like those games. But i like Halo's "Run n gun" style. Chaos is everywhere.
