lmao, tc guess does not use common sense. for starters 360 was out for about 2 years when Halo 3 was released, playstation was only out for 1 day when RFOM was released. god this thread failed pretty badly.

And what kinda comparison is this anyway? comparing a new IP to a 3rd installment of a game, let alone Halo, a game that seems to be more popular than god.

trust me lems hate Wii, if you're anything like me you'll love all (or atleast most) systems but favor one of the others, when i say lems, i mean xbots only, they hate the Wii to death and they also praise Halo 3s sales.

Even if resistance is better than halo (which i think it is, played halo:ce, didn't like it that much, never played the rest so i wouldn't know), there is no way in hell that RFOM could've outsold or even came close to the amount of sales of halo, cuz as i said before: new ip vs a well structured series with an incredibly large fanbase.

You are comparing the most anticipated 360 game with a older console (So more consoles) With a new game that is not a seqeul, on a new console, with lower userbase?
Are you honestly trying to compare Freakin HALO 3, a game that has already 2 sequels before it, to Resistence, a brand new IP that was a launch title to PS3. You my freind are dumb.
Anyone know the sales figures of the original Halo? I believe it took it 6 months to sell 1 million and it went downhill from there. If you compare the two side by side (both launch titles, both new IP, both FPS), i think Resistance has done bloody well.
