And I clearly stated niche in my quoted post, having said that it's redundant of you to say that many of them have a bias against said genres. It means the same thing except for I don't try to generalize the entire region.

Japan is a biased market. BUT they do buy other genres and other systems. there is variation.

lots of them just dont buy american products.

MS have sold about 400k Xbox360s in Japan- so considering that Halo3 will be a HUGE game for that userbase- itsno surprise that the game has done well in the charts.
