we should just start hyping games that look aaa aa (bioshock, mass effect, halo 3, mp3, ssbb, mario galaxy, mgs4, etc). so then if they get aa it wasnt a FLOP.
well since gamespot has given some of my fave games under 9 i will say 8.9 . like zelda they gave oot a ten but now its on wii it gets a 8.9! zelda wii got 8.8 and the cube got 8.9 whats with that? why is gamespot so obessed with keeping zelda under 9?

Unfourtunately I think it will get only 9.5. There is alot of talk about how the graphics are not up to par with some other next gen games of course most of these opinions completely ignore the fact that simple and clean is the art style of Halo.

I hope everyone will because that would really get old fast... Sort of like the almost twice daily threads saying Crysis is coming to consoles, or that Bioshock is coming to the PS3. Honestly, I don't care if Bioshock or Crysis go to the PS3, I just need to not see these threads constantly, specifically when all they are based on is rumors that a few websites started because it was a slow news day (PSU, PS3 Fanboy)...

If you look at the single player of Halo 2, GS seemed dissapointed by many non-gameplay related aspects. It was short, the story ended abruptly etc. but it still scored a 9.4
Halo 3 is going to be a conclusion, which means chances are, the crapping ending problem at the very least will be fixed. There's also a bunch of interesting features like online co-op and w/e which i'm sure reviewers will like.
It's not impossible for GS to give halo under a 9, if they think the gameplay is too much rehashing (is the beta multiplayer extremely similar to halo 2?), but judging by how they reviewed halo2, halo3 will probably get like a 9.5

9.5... but who knows, being the first to bring map editing, 4 player online coop, and the largest battles seen to date on consoles might be enough for a 10.
LoL you can just keep playing Metroid on your Wii till about christmas until you're bored, because I'll still be playing Halo 3 for at least 2 years, based on what I've read so far (and how much I played Halo 2). 9.5 from me.
