I know it is beta but is anybody else extremely dissapointed with the graphics? They are a step down from what we were showed previously. I hope they get their act together and upgrade those graphics.Wasdie

Plus even matching the graphical level of Gears without exceeding it is STILL a compliment to a games graphics. Also very important to note that the 2 games are in completely different art directions.

The water in the 1st pic looks great. I'm liking what I see in the customizations. An RGB mixer would be the piece-de-resistance in appearance customizations.

The beta is meant to showcase the gameplay, not graphics.  The graphics will most likely improve.

Not true according to G-Man. Beta games always get major upgrades in graphics. 

The water looks decent, but, the textures, how ugly! I see lots of shards, too! We'll call them jaggies! Shut up about beta, this is how the game is going to look. In this case, it's not about looks, but gameplay. Halo's never been the prettiest game, it's the gameplay that gets everyone stirred up and gooed in the pants.MantiCore2K8

Yep. The top picture looks a lot better than the other ones posted today. Water looks nice, but the textures still aren't very sharp.

I love all the "its not about the graphics" stuff that's coming out now in conjunction with these screens. We always knew Halo wasn't about graphics, nobody listened. D_Znuhtz

I'm not a graphic lover myself, just that every shot about a future PS3 game it always get compared to gears. So, why not with future Xbox360 games?

Exactly. Now if KZ doesn't look like the trailer it will be supreme PWNAGE and they'll somehow forget about the whole Halo 3 debacle. It's just pure blind fanboyism.

Bottom line is this game will be fantastic, but the graphics right now are completely underwhelming.

Pretty impressive, but its hilarious watching the Console controlsxD (Watching the player aim too far in one direction because of the joystick) :D

Those images look relatively bad, and the graphics will probably have some improvements, I can't see the gameplay in the images.
