Now that we've seen real game trailers and gameplay for all three games... which one is going to come out on top?

I must say though, the Killzone 2 trailer looks amazing!

"Oh, they also made a big deal out of the fact that their trailer did feature in-game, real-time cut scenes. In fact, they ran through the beginning of it a second time, pausing in the middle to move the camera around and zoom in and out, just to prove there was nothing up their sleeves."

No, but seriously, The game was ACTUALY played by the devs at E3 behind closed doors, What you see in the trailer is all in game/gameplay. You can clearly see it isn't as sharp or detailed as the Previous Fake trailer..but very very close to it..and IMO looks better in style.

Just Accept it...its what the game REALLY looks like...The games budget is over 40 milliion with over 120 devs behind the game...what did you expect?

I'm really pschyed up for Metroid Prime 3 more than any other game coming out. Call me a fool, lamb, what have you. it's just something about that franchise that has always caught my eyes & attention since I was a shorty

Look, Halo 3 in this thread just absolutely does so much more then the other two! Maybe we will get a look at Gears2 soon and then it can be compared to the other two as a fair comparison.

Heck use Gears 1 to compare and that works !

Halo 3 has these wide open and huge area levels where Chief can use both ground and air vehicles with A.I or co-op help !

Nothing seen in the other two have shown any such things and thats not something done with ease !

Gears or Gears2 will be much more like the other two as it will go for the confined spaced areas and without all the modes of transpertation.

In short Halo 3 just blows the other two outta the water so to speak lol IMHO.

Metroid Prime easily, Halo 3 form what I've read just sounds like a better looking Halo 2 (though the man cannon is awesome if only for its name) and Killzone 2 you have to be sceptical don't you?

That was 5 years ago, when Nintendo cared about horsepower and before Xbox Live and Halo revolutionized the genre. You might as well throw Wolfenstein 3D in the arguement.

seriusly though heres how i see it (all opinion of course).

MP3: both games in the series are brilliant single player games. however there also very love it/hate it. some people think prime was one of the best game last gen on any console. others think its a complete waste of time with too much backtracking. however both have great critical success. personally speaking, this is more than likely going to be the game i enjoy the most out of the 3. i loved prime 1 and 2....the games are brilliant. unless retro screw up, this will be a cracker. if u like multiplayer only though then this wont interest in the slightest.

Halo3: I dont play multiplayer on it so i wont comment on that. from a single player point of view though, bungie have to get their act together. Halo1 SP was great. 2s was poor overall imho. If bungie can nail the SP then the game is really going to shine. Multiplayer is bound to be good either way.

KZ2: The trailers are great, the graphics look very nice and sony seem to be pumping money into this. The devs simply have to make this great. i wasnt happy with KZ1. started otu great and then went a bit meh imho. certainly not a threat to something like halo or HL2. however it means theres a crap load of room for improvement and hopefully the devs have been listening to critics and gamers alike. out of the 3, this game has the most to prove imho. we know retro can do a killer SP game and bungie have shown that they can too. guerilla must get this right. they must not onyl show off what the PS3 can do but must also show off what they can do as a dev. at the mo this looks impressive. however so did killzone before release. i hope they get it right and i wish them the best of luck. however im not assuming its going to be great...not yet anyway.

XBox live and Halo didnt revolutionise s**. PC gamers have had better shooters and online play than that since 1992. As for "teh graphics" and "teh single player" Bioshock is single player only as well and it's much more exciting than a casual freindly shooter aimed at 14 year old americans. The graphics on MP3 look amazing, and are comparable with early PS3/360 games and the first MP3 scored better than the first Halo on gamerankings so there goes your pathetic argument of "Metroid Prime isn''t comparable"

metroid isnt really up to the standards of the other two because it is being played on effectivley a last gen console. halo 3 will come out on top only because there are sooooooooooooo many more 360s out there than ps3scozmcrae

In case you haven't read the previews, most publications like the experience they come into with the game, with one even touting that it could most definitely change the way we play FPS for the better(tho I'm one of thosesheep that says MP is a FPA, like other publications also).

MP isn't even considered a shooter. Halo and xbox live, actually DIDrevolutionize all console online gaming. And by the way, you shouldn't be talking about how Halo's graphics are, since you're basically playing a gamecube.

Halo 3.the reason is that the singleplayer will play much much better than Killzone 2.even the MP will play much better than Killzone2. the gameplay from Killzone2 was nothing espcecial and it was very linear

Halo 3 has the best Multiplayer & Single Player Campaign

Graphics wise, it's a toss between Halo 3 and KZ2, because of art difference.

Gameplay goes to Halo 3 and MP3,

KZ2 has much to prove since KZ1's gameplay was one of the worst.

You guys have no idea how excited I am for METROID PRIME 3!!!!! Amongst all the others I have in mind to get my hands on, Assassins Creed, Smash Bros, Halo 3, Killzone 2 etc, this game, ladies & gentlemen is IMO the pinnacle of what Wii can offer as far as gameplay goes, and perhaps even graphics. Apart from my own impressions, you have those major publications glorifying it, with 1 even saying "...it definitely could change the way we play FPSs for the better!!!" Even though I recognize it as a FPA, I think I understand what they're saying.
