I agree. If Microsoft couples the launch of Halo 3 with a price drop, it would bring killer sales. And this has nothing to do with this, but that Elite 360 should come with a coupon or something for 100$ off of an HD DVD add on.jfkunrendered

no. there is a whole leagion of people who only play halo.  seriously. most of them just have an xbox and halo.  or 2-4 xbox's and 2-4 copies of halo 1 and 2.

Damn, and all this time I was under the assumption that Halo 3 would pretty much kill the 360's fanbase. I've even put posters up around my town stating "HALO 3 = R.I.P. 360".

true but i don't really see them coupling Halo3 launch with a price drop...i mean, halo3's gonna move systems even without the price drop, so why do it all at once? they'll probably try to milk halo3 by itself for as long as possible, then when sales start slowing down, come in with the price drop to get thing moving again
