Your going by pics? I go by playing the actual games. I have played The Witcher II on my PC and to say Halo 4 looks better you better wait to play Halo 4 which is what I am doing.

A: Not maximum graphics settings in those witcher pics.

B: Either way, I see jaggies and low res textures in those halo pics. Not surprising, on ancient hardware.

Even if it did look better, it has at least 10x the budget.

IIRC Witcher 2 cost 10million to make, its pretty impressive what they were able to do.

Those Witcher 2 pictures might have used lowest graphical settings.

When comparing things with PC games, you've got to understand that PC screenshots aren't fixed to their looks.

Seriously though, it's extremely silly to compare a console game with PC because PC is much more capable of what it can do. I'm sure that PC can do 100x better than Witcher 2 at max. It's all about optimisation. Hell, Crysis is an all-time graphics king and it's from 2007... Don't underestimate the PC.

Nice, they're always a welcome sight. From a pure technical standpoint, Witcher 2 doesn't win the ultimate graphics award, but nevertheless, I personally find it visually the most impressive game released this gen...

It's just beautiful to look at, and Flotsam is my favorite area, love that forest...

Nice bullshots, Halo 4 is a jaggie fest, it has no AF which makes anything near you blurry as all hell & the textures are worse than Doom 3 on low, seriously the textures are awful, the character/npc models are no better than Halo 3, the cutscenes use higher poly models, so not sure if you want to count them.

the lighting isn't that good, it just uses a lot of color filters like BF3, which is annoying, since Bungie would never do that.

second picture with the elite isn't just a higher resolution, it looks no where near that good in game, the elite is clearly higher poly with higher res textures, these were rendered on a PC, which is not surprising, since Halo 4 has keyboard/Mouse icons in it's files.

really getting sick of devs with these damn bullshots, what's worse is people keep falling for them, especially the AC3 ones from a few months ago, the game looks nothing like that.

They already said that game will look a little bit better than Halo: Reach. Much the difference going to art style changes.ShadowDeathX

This late in the gen it should be pretty clear what 360 and PS3 are graphically capable of...

Halo 4 looks amazing and clearly one of the best looking console games this gen but it is not better then high end PC level.
