What do you mean wrapped everything up? They left a bunch of life-exterminating rings floating around space and sent Master Chief to some unknown planet. It's pretty obvious they're leaving it open for a sequel... Again...

There's plenty left, and they can always make new stuff up. It's not like it was a very deep or original story in the first place.

they said it was a trilogy and how could they extend on a 3 part game... besides if they did have a 4 it would suck even worse than the 3rd. i like the first and i just beat it again yesterday with my cuz. second meh ok 3rd one didnt even buy not worth it. Yes, it is yet another "crystal ball" thread by teh AvidGamer. But, it only seems logical that there would be a Halo 4. Halo 3 is the fastest selling game of all time. Now, Halo 4 may or may not be developed by Bungie. But don't think for a second that this franchise is dead after all the revenue it has brought in. AvIdGaMeR444

You finish the fight against the Flood and Covenant. The fight you have been waging since the first game. It doesn't say finish fighting. It looks like he lands on some weird death star planet at the end of 3. Should be plenty more fighting to do there.

The Legendary ending of Halo 3 suggests that there will be another game with Master Chief in it. I doubt it will be Halo 4 though, since the Halo trilogy was concluded and most loose ends were tied up in Halo 3.

True but I doubt it will continue the story. It'll probably be some spin-off like Halo Wars.

A word and a half for you guys... PRE-QUEL they pritty much wrapped everything up in the third one the only thing you can do now is explore the before hand, like how the alien guys made the rings or w/e. Sorry im no halo-igist but it makes sense, and yes halo rakes in too much $$$ to be ignored.

I only looked at it once for a few seconds but I thought it was bigger than that. Are you saying he just crashed back onto the ring he just fled from?

I doubt Halo 4 will happen. Didn't they say it was supposed to be a trilogy? However I do agree that the franchise makes a lot of money, therefore they will do the same thing that Nintendo did with Mario and Square did with FF7... milk it for all its worth. Do I blame them? No because people will still buy anything Mario or FF7 related, and in this case Halo. This is how Halo Wars came about. :Ptaker_1192
