well if iirc, viva pinata is coming to the DS, which is a 360 exclusive. yes, i know that halo is bigger than that, but the zune won't be playing games until 08, so might as well put it on the DS.
The game was canceled. We're only waiting for proof of its existance. Apparentely either M$ or Nintendo didnt like Halo coming to the DS and so the project was stopped. Or so Matt says, and we wont know until we have proof.

Well halo isn't exclusive to xbox consoles, and DS is not a competitor of xbox360, so microsoft may decide to make some extra money by releasing it on DS.
Well its possible, Microsoft would have nothing to lose if they did. Infact wouldn't they just make more money if they did? And isn't all that matters to Microsoft and Nintendo, money?

no your not the only one , i could see it happening , ds is selling great and with halo wars coming you know that microsoft is looking to expand the halo franchise
If Halo did go to the DS, would the lemmings be owned cause their exclusive franchise wound up on another companies handheld making it not so exclusive? But then again since Halo is available on the PC, it leads me to believe that it was never exclusive in the first place when that happened.

Not necessarially... If it was true, I'm sure many people would run out to get a DS and completley shun the PSP...
FPS' have never been good on a portable. And not to sound like a grpahics whore, but i think the DS' graphics are too blocky for a halo game, if you know what i mean...
Actually, now that I think of it, if true, this might actually be a part of Microsoft's Master plan...
Remember how Gates wanted MS to buy Nintendo? My theory for that is mainly to get a bigger influence in Japan. and get them interested in their games and such...
Well, by releasing Halo on the DS, they'd get craploads of people to buy DSes and that game... This would be phase one; Pwning Nintendo on their own Handheld in sales, and game ranking...
It would make sense, it would give them another way to stick it to Sony by helping the DS further crush the PSP in sales and hope they pull out of handhelds so MS could enter with only 1 competitor in the market.
It sounds like it would be very interesting, but I still don't understand how they would get the full 3d movement of shooters of moving foward, looking horizontally AND vertically.. Both the PSP and DS lack perphials for such a thing.

Metroid Prime Hunters? Among the few other DS FPSes (Brothers In arms being the most recent...) ANd I know there were a few PSP shooters...
Prime Hunters had two control schemes, one using all buttons, the other stylus for the looking and aiming...
