47 minute footage of Halo Fest. The first 10 minutes are filled with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniverary gameplay. It definitely looks great. The already revealed first terminal is shown off, too. Afterwards, a 343 panel interview.
I really like that the people at 343 seem to be absolutely huge fans of the franchise themselves and know just what us fans want!
The game is looking great and I can't wait to get my hands on it! That whole ability to switch back and forth between the remastered version and classic version is very awesome!

On topic, the game looks fantastic! I still have my original copy but will get this for sure. Just have to wait a month or two since Gears 3, Skyrim and Forza 4 are my priorities :)

Exactly what I was like. Saw the remake coming a mile off but didn't picture myself buying the game any time soon after launch. After watching a few videos and reading a few previews, I've remembered how much I loved Halo: CE. I'll preorder soon.
343i has killed my expectations for this remake so far, they couldn't have done a better job at updating the title in the way they chose to do so. They seem to be people that will take Halo to possibly better levels than Bungie did. I always thought Halo was the democracy of videogames, it's all about the community baby!
Same, Sidewinder was probably my favorite from Halo 1 :)
I keep getting more and more pumped for this every time, I love Halo CE and it's still my favorite Halo.

Death Island was probably my favorite, mostly for the use of vehicles being awesome in that map. I also love Hang 'Em High and Damnation.
Yeah definitely loved that one as well. As well as a lot of the extra PC maps, man I wish more people played 1 on PC still without the Sniper's Dream Team mod :P That's fun and all, but still love classic snipers.
Kindof hope somebody does a graphics mod for Halo CE for PC, maybe that'll get more people playing again.
Thank God they've brought back the old weapon designs for Anniversary. I really like the sleeker more sci-fi look of the original Halo's weapons as compared to the slightly more generic and "realisitic" looking design of them in the current games.

Sexy game, good to see the Reach engine get to flex some muscles. Did anyone see later in the video when showing the multiplayer maps. That waterfall in Damnation. Wow...
Edit: Yes!!! I see no evidence of that terrible Temporal AA, I didn't see any ghosting. Just smooth Camera/Object based Motion Blur.
t hey're finally bringing timberland's from halo combat evolved on the pc to console gamers. LOL that was a pc exclusive map, shame they made timberlands 20% smaller wtf didnt bring over death island though another pc exclusive map or infinity those were cool maps too. they should release these maps as free dlc because they didnt include them feels like half ass remake.
