Like I have said before, I am not really a Halo fan, but for those of you that are, circle December 8th on your calendar
As a long time (2 decades of a fan I might add) Halo fan, I will absolutely start and finish the campaign first before ever touching the MP, but I'm an old school type of gamer that way. Knowing the Halo community, likely only brand new players will possibly ignore the campaign and story, but veterans like myself know better. I just hope Halo: Infinite will deliver the good despite it's missing co-ops/Forge but at least split-screen is back baby! That's far more important in the Halo games, legacy players know split-screen is the goat of Halo.
And as for Dec 8th release date, that's a good date since it's a month after Forza Horizon 5 is what you'd expect anyway. As of matter in fact, this would be the perfect release date for me...would give me a whole month to get balls deep in Forza Horizon 5 first from Nov 5th...way too many games releasing in September-December. Holiday gaming is gonna be hella busy for me.
@SecretPolice: lol, I actually want one of those to restore.
Lots of kids grow up wanting to find sports car.
Being the nerdy gamer that I am, I've always dreamed of being able to own and restore a DeLorean and drive around wearing a lab coat lol
Lolol, good stuff. ;)
Not sure it's still around but there's a place/company that purchased all the OEM parts when DoLorean went belly up and it used to be you could practically buy all new parts and build yourself a spanking new DeLorean yourself. ;o

The game will be just fine releasing w/o the availability of those two features contrary to those believing the sky is falling. A holiday release makes sense but what about the consoles needed to play the game?

It's cross gen so it will play on X1 and X1X though yeah, I want to play it on XSX and hoping I can score one around the holidays without too much trouble.

I'll assume Halo: Infinite Xbox One X version will be the option to play it without too much trouble and while Halo isn't known for raw graphics, the stability is what's more important so I wouldn't worry much on last-gen versions but as Halo community points it out, best play on XSX...Even XSS version is acceptable.
that's gonna miss black friday but i guess it doesn't matter since gamepass..
december is also really close to 2022..
what are the chances they delay it again??
@ermacness:
Enemy?
Give YOUR head a jiggle,I'll play both on my Xbox series X the best console version while the dust mites have a field day on my PlayStation
In Halo CE there was plenty of blood and gore. Halo 2 as well, but with its toys-like art direction, it was less impactful. Dunno about all the others, tho.

There was a infamous scene in Halo 4 involving a weapon that caused a bunch of gruesome deaths near the end of the game. That same weapon was used a few more times in that game's story. Halo 3 was rated M or the equivalent rating because of the flood.
So, it is releasing three months from now but it would be missing Co-op for another three months and forge for six. This game was schedule for launch last November. 😐
This exactly. What in the F**K were they going to release last November? Probably another Duke Nukem Forever. It would have DESTROYED Halo as a franchise.
I hope people get those features soon after launch, but be prepared for a delay on those features if whatever they release on Dec. 8th has issues that need to be patched.
