THere is one thing about Killzone that I like better than Halo and thats the enviroments. I like how Killzone has more gritty, war type enviroments while Halo's enviroments are just to "clean" Dont get me wrong Halo 2 is a awesome game and I still play it a lot to this day but for some reason there is something about the enviroments that I dont like, they are just too full of life and colorful, for instance when I play Halo 2 online it feels more like a game of Paintball whereas Killzone feels like a real shooter. and im not saying Killzone is better than Halo, I just wish halo was more gritty and war like instead of so colorful and clean, thats just my opinion. I also wish Halo's weapons where more heavy and louder, again the weapons when I shoot someone doesnt feel like it does true damage while Killzone's weapons feel more realistic and feel more like guns. AGain these are just a couple minor things that Halo could improve upon

Finally a halo fan that agrees with some of my gripes about the game. All the abd things you mentioned are some of the reasons i liked Killzone mroe despite its bugs.Â
I don't understand how you feel that way about the multi-player, but I think I know why halo 2 SP was clean. No where in that game was "War-Torn" before you were there. You arrived on the secen when the battles first broke out with the exception of the gravemind mission when you had to go through a broken down part of Halo. In every other battle, you were the one that went around and destroyed everything that was once peaceful.
From what I played of Killzone I actually enjoyed it a lot more than Halo. The story seemed unique, the characters seemed original, the weapons were very good and were a blast to use, the level design was varied enough to keep you interested but not so much as to deter you from moving forward. I never got to see what Hakha could do but I am going to snag me a new copy of the game whenever I get a chance and finish it. I was severely disappointed when my used copy failed to work... I actually got angry.
Halo was technically superior... but I think Killzone was the better game.

By the way, how IS Killzone 2 coming along? Because I haven't seen any significant news since the not-so-real trailer. I don't understand why people aren't upset about that.

Your partially right. The biggest thing Killzone PS2 had going for it was the somewhat originality/concept of its story. Gameplay wise the weapons felt sloppy as well as the sound. The settings were dead on but the graphics/framerate kept it from being a much more polished game visually. Its story is really unique but everything, overall was just slopped on as though there were no refinements/polish to the game what so ever. It saddens me really, I would love to see a game de-thrown Halo as being the most refined. balanced shooter ever. Killzone more than has potential to do so.
