 Although I disagree with the TC, because Crysis / UT / Quake Wars are not copying its mundain nature.

The multiplayer was the same with 3 new abilties, that have all been done before >>

Halo really is overrated by the commercialized superfluous marketed backstory that panders to Sci-Fi geeks.  It's just another FPS game and there were greater ones (Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake, Turok, etc) before it and will be after it (America's Army, Counter-Strike Source, Soldier of Fortune, Prey, etc).

if Halo has set the bar so low,  then why is it that EVERY game that's been dubbed "halo killer" is yet to score even close to it?  I think you've got your facts mixed up with your opinion.  Halo has set the bar extremely high when it comes down to getting the core fundamentals down for general gameplay.  The Multiplayer alone is better than what all other games thus far have been able to deliver combined in single player and multiplayer.  Halo3 seems to be pushing the bar up even higher than what Halo2 managed to do.  As long as Bungie continues to put out such a high quality product overall,  I will gladly support them for they are the ONLY developer to develope an excellent online multiplayer experience for the consoles.  I hope you enjoy your blind hate,  but for the rest of us (those who have actually played the game),  the launch of Halo3 will continue it's dominance over the console FPS genre.
