Halo or Killzone franchise : If you had to choose one...

Which one is the better overall franchise? i.e. which franchise, according to you, would score higher if you were to rate them?

Definitely Halo. And believe me, I am no fanboy :P. I wanted to love Killzone, but IMO it basically only has presentation going for it.

Halo. 4 player split-screen, and otherwise just plain better.

I'm on the edge of saying neither, because both of them have plenty of things I do not like and things I do like. Though both of them have cons that really stick out to me that doesn't make me want to play either.

Both.Halo was my first xbox game, Killzone was my first PS3 game.

Just finished Reach and now I'm re-playing the trilogy, it feels great seeing the big picture. But I still prefer the atmosphere, design and gameplay of Killzone.

I didnt play Halo this gen and I didnt enjoy Halo CE and Halo 2, while I loved Killzone 2 and 3, but in terms of franchise power, I must give it to Halo.

Halo by far. Halo was good last gen too. Killzone has a long way to go with game modes, etc also. Killzone is a good game now, but its no Halo.

I'm that guy who will never understand why halo 3 or odst were rated AAA.Halo:CE and Halo 2 were masterpieces but halo 3 did nothing let alone the piece of crap that was odst , thankfuly Bungie abandoned halo with a respectable job done , Halo Reach.

Killzone 1 despite what people said was pure fun with bots , I can't recall another game where I did that , maybe there was but then again ps2 library was huge , killzone 2 was awesome and the best of the series , solid campaign , awesome art and atmosphere I'm sure that they achieved what they meant , not jungles and butterflies , killzone 3 was a step backwards only because of the story for me , I mean it was pretty good for an fps but oh my , could they explore that world much more instead of rushing the end and leaving a cliffhanger ending.The online though improved some things and neglected others.

But the whole atmophere of killzone is a much more intriguing one for me,its art, characters , enemies , classes , story , etc , so that's the one I'd go for.

Halo. Started reading The Fall of Reach and I'm really enjoying.

Oh noes this is lemspot for sure since xbox is winning the poll...:P. I would say killzone. I enjoy it more though its not like I hate halo I mean the mp is arcady fun.

How is soemthing built to have fun for longer. That doesint make senese. Something keeps being fun depending on the person not the game itself.

pretty much this. I've always been a huge killzone fan.....but halo is flat out better period.

it would take someone blind (aka fanboy) to not see the pure quality difference in the games. disgarding graphics/story/etc and just focusing on how fun it is to just play....halo kills it.
