[QUOTE="balfe1990"][QUOTE="Arbiterisl33t69"]Haven't played the game in weeks and I'm seeing the population decrease. Doesn't that tell you something, Bungie? You really think your precious game is so perfect that the thousands of blatant armor lock and bloom complaints should just be ignored? Microsoft1234
Strangely enough my copy had been untouched for weeks and I got the CE at launch. Only in the last week have I gotten back into it and I can tell its gonna be my go-to game for the next good while at least. Its far more feature rich and deep than many other FPSs out there and don't worry, it still has a very healthy population at peak times.
I wouldn't call you whiny but I find it funny that on one side you get people saying " Its too much of the same after 3 Halo titles, we want something different" and on the other side you have " Its way too different, why couldn't they give us more of the same".
Armor Lock can be easily countered and bloom requires more time and skill than just spraying bullets and having them miraculously hit.
All in all, I think people complain far too much and about the most trivial things. Armour Lock et cetera are such small elements of the overall package, that I think they're easy to forget about. And IIRC, is there not a playlist without any Armour Abilites for the purists?
Sorry, that whole block of text was well off-topic.
armor lock overpowers a single ability and allows someone who should've died to stay alive despite their poor selection of play. Bloom does add skill, but bungie's bloom isn't 100% consistent and the mlg community have proposed several ways to fix the bloom to make it like shadowrun. there's alot wrong with the game that people just don't notice because they're "well" not good enough to notice it. Theres nothing "wrong" with a game just because a few people say so. YOU may think its wrong but I don't. That still doesn't make it wrong.
I know very little about MLG but as far as I can tell, they're a bit of a joke. If they said the sky was purple would you agree?
Finally I don't know what you're getting at with putting "well" in quote marks but if its some sort of an attempt at humour at my expense, its not very funny or clever, sorry.
