Halo Reach Defiant Map Pack ViDoc with 343i and Certain Affinity

They seem to love their Halo, so that's at least promising.

The maps look good and I will be getting them come March 15th despite the pricetag(10 quid for 3 maps).

I wouldn't pay that money for any other game , but this is Reach:P

What about the rest ofyou, will you be picking this up? And for those of you that have since stopped playing Reach MP for whatever reason, give it another go.

They've already comfirmed over and over that there won't be a new Halo this year.

EDIT: You guys do know the Halo: CE remake isn't real right? Microsoft/343 has already said.

Looks fantastic! I cant wait for CE´s remake aswel but thses guys need to make their own Halo game! they did a great job in the design of these new maps :)

There's no remake announced, or even hinted at. It was all just a rumor.

Thanks, i've been looking for that source for ages. Alot of the time when i'm telling people on Bungie.net that it ain't real they moan for a source.

They only say they would never let Sabre or anyone else for that matter dev for them a complete Halo game as that all stays in house and the report ends with....

O'Connor said up front that there will be no new Halo game in 2011; "There'll certainly be more Halo fiction entering the universe, but we've no new games to announce right now."

Again, I do think the possibility and probability is there and the timing is right but.... can't confirm anything so we'll all just need to wait and see. :)

It's entirely possible. But that's not what I'm getting from the rest of the interview:

It's not all bad news for fans of the Halo universe – O'Connor did imply that 343 may be making a Halo: Reach map pack after the release of Bungie's second and final DLC for the game is released later this year. O'Connor said; "Of course we'll be supporting Halo games via DLC, matchmaking, tournaments, and more. 2011 is the tenth anniversary of Halo, and we'll make sure that the fanbase, the userbase, and the community is energised with cool new content and fiction."

This new map pack looks great. Hopefully the new Firefight map will be good because the other ones are a little boring.

I think the maps are pretty cool. Condemned is my favorite because it's in SPACE!
